Newborn Care Specializing in Families with
                                Multiples!

The joy of multiples can be weighed down by the concerns that come when there is more than one baby growing inside a mother's body.  The more babies, the more blessings, concerns, fears, and risks.  As the new or expectant parents of multiples you may be feeling excited, overwhelmed or frantic... but know there are people who can make having multiples fun and even EASYI love multiples because of the dynamic they create between each other.  Despite the potential developmental delays multiples face, they often learn many things ahead of singeltons!

When to Find Help:

It takes more people to care for multiples than it does for a singleton, so finding help long before your babies are born is essential.  The second trimester seems to be the best time to establish and set up help from family and hired professionals.  In the second trimester the health and vitality of each baby becomes clearer, and as you know, most multiples are born long before the end of the third trimester, with many mothers on bed rest from the second trimester on.

I have short term and long term experience caring for twins and triplets as well as replacing myself when my time is done.  So after your newborn services I would love to help you get set up with a great nanny or AuPair!

Where to Find Help:

Well you are at a great place!  The internet is a vast resource for information and resources for MOMs (Mothers of Multiples).  There are many online directories with caregivers listings you can search through and agencys you can work with in finding the right type of professional help for each stage you and your babies are in.

Local MOMs groups can be an incredible resource in so many ways.  Other Mothers of Multiples can give comfort and advice during unsure or challenging times.  They offer support for parents and siblings of multiples.  They recommend (and warn) each other about products, doctors, caregivers, agencies, and community resources.  These groups often have virtual discussion, bulletin, and for sale boards. They offer reviews,  trade, and resale of items great for new moms and mulitples. They have social meetings for MOMs to get out with women who can relate to them, and play groups for the children are often formed out of these associations.  To Find Your Local Chapter type or copy
